Most paint faults are a moisture or a preparation problem wearing a paint problem's clothes. Here is what each one looks like, why it happens, and what to do before you open another tin.
Blistering, peeling, mould and efflorescence are all ways of telling you a wall is wet. Repainting over any of them buys a few weeks at most. Trace the leak, the rising damp or the blocked gutter, put it right, let the wall dry, and then paint.

Send a photograph, say what the surface is and when it was painted, and a technical representative will tell you what it is and what to do.
Our technical line has seen most of them, on walls in this climate.
